Welcome to Impressions of Cornwall, and we are delighted to present the latest edition of our highly acclaimed exhibition devoted to Cornish painters and subjects.

We hope you will find plenty to enjoy in this new collection of oils, watercolours and pastels celebrating Cornwall’s rich artistic heritage from the 1880s to the present day.

The pictures, all of which are for sale, include works by some of the most important painters who found their inspiration and fame in the art colonies of Newlyn, Lamorna, Falmouth and St. Ives in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The Grade II listed building of The Alverton, dating from 1830, is the ideal setting for our exhibition. It is only a 15-minute drive from the A30; has excellent free parking; and is just a five-minute walk from Truro city centre.

We look forward to seeing you, but if you are unable to join us we hope you will enjoy browsing through the pages of our website, where details and illustrations of the paintings appear in the Cornwall Exhibition pages. The pictures may be purchased now and please select Contact if you would like to telephone or email us for more information.
